We could not speak each other's languages; yet, all three of us enjoyed the sunrise together.
We were all hanging out and a boy came in the room with a bag of sour gummy worms (He got them with his presents). He gave them out to the other kids in the bedroom so they could have one. That blew me away, God used someone that didn’t have a lot and taught me how to share (something I struggled with).
As we prepared to go to the first orphanage we asked Pastor Gerby, “What do you think we should focus on when we arrive & what are the kids expecting?” His answer was, “Just love them. They’ve been looking forward to this and just want to be loved.” My heart came alive at that moment because I realized that, although my physical abilities were limited, I could love.
